introduction service which introduces investors
to companies seeking to sell an equity interest
in their business for additional funding.
To benefit from xénos potential investors should:
- Be prepared to invest in unquoted start up and established companies in Wales with substantial growth potential;
- Have between £10,000 and £250,000 readily accessible for investment;
- Recognise that investment in a new business carries high risk as well as the possibility of high rewards;
- Be prepared to provide management or specialist expertise to the business if required.
In return xénos will:
- Provide exclusive information about business opportunities all over Wales - both new and existing - which have been reviewed by a xénos adviser;
- Search through the xénos database to
match your investment criteria to companies
registered with xénos;
- Present you with a variety of new business opportunities in a monthly copy of the xénos Bulletin of investment opportunities, most of which will qualify for EIS reliefs;
- Invite you to regular Investment Fora held throughout Wales at which companies seeking investment will make presentations and where you have the opportunity to meet other investors;
- Invite you to investor "Club Meetings" and investor events at which you will have the opportunity to network with other investors and to receive up-to-date information on investment issues;
- Provide access to the deals on the xénos internet site;
- Offer opportunities to receive information on potential non-executive directorships.
There is an enrolment fee of £175 plus VAT per annum for investors to join the xénos network and an annual renewal cost of £75 plus VAT.
